Latest peek through the porthole of construction

A view from the bar, a cradle for engines and hull blocks in waiting, today Brittany Ferries presents latest images from the Honfleur build taking place at the FSG shipyard in Flensburg and Gdansk in Poland.

The selection of images show huge “megablocks” taking shape in Poland. These will form the superstructure and main passenger areas, and include a peak through the windows of what will become her bar when in service. Meanwhile in Germany, we see preparation of vast hull blocks as well as Honfleur’s engine room space with main engine foundations.

The work precedes the next significant step in Honfleur’s construction: keel laying on 6 August 2018.
